Additional Driver
There will be an additional charge of 200 DKK including VAT for each additional authorized driver per rental. All rental conditions apply to each additional driver. Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter with a valid drivers license.
After Hours Service
Arrival:
To be able to pick up a car outside our opening hours, there will be a OUT OF HOUR CHARGE 375DKK.
Once in arrivals hall, follow the signs to Car Rental Centre. Our key box is located to the right, in the entrance of the Car Rental Centre.
Please follow the instructions emailed prior to arrival or stated on the key box to get your key.
Wi-Fi/data is needed to access the rental key provided during After Hours reservation. If you cannot access Wi-Fi/data, have any issues, or need assistance, please contact our 24-hour helpline on +298 299800
When you have collected your key, follow the instructions we have given you in the email. Your vehicle is parked in area P3F, and stall number will be marked on your key.
Your vehicle has been checked for damages and if any, they are marked on your rental agreement, received via email after signing the agreement. Please take time to walk-around your vehicle before leaving the parking area, if you notice a new damage take a picture/video with time/date and contact our branch as soon as possible by sending an email with the pictures, to inform us of the new damage, remember to note the license plate in the email.
To exit the parking area, follow the signs for ‘Exit’.
Return:
When returning the car, park it in one of our spots at P3F, we have 30 spots that are marked with Enterprise, if there are no spots available, just park the car somewhere close to our parking area.
To drop of your key, please go back to the Car Rental Centre and drop your key in the Alamo/Enterprise/National drop box.
The final invoice will be sent to your email as soon as possible.
Important information: To provide convenience to travelers we provide 24/7 returns. Please note, outside business hours, depositing the keys in the drop box does not constitute the end of the rental. You remain liable for any damages until an Alamo/National/Enterprise employee takes possession of the vehicle and keys when the rental branch opens the following working day.
Age Requirements
All renters and additional drivers must be aged 21 or over to rent a car and have held a driving license for at least one year. A Young Driver Surcharge will be applicable for all drivers under the age of 25. When renting a vehicle, a driver qualified as a “young driver” pays an extra charge of 125 DKK per day and up to a maximum of 1250.00 DKK per rental as a "Young Driver Surcharge". Renters between the ages of 21 - 24 may rent all car groups except Premium and Luxury categories. All fees quoted include VAT.
Cross Border Policy
A cross border rental is considered a vehicle picked up in Denmark, taken across an International border and returned to a location in Denmark. Cross border travel is permitted into Sweden and Norway at any time. Cross border travel is allowed in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Vatican City with prior notification and approval by the branch. Cross border travel outside of the countries listed above is not allowed at any time. Additional information will be provided at the time of pickup regarding the rules and regulations of cross border travel. A penalty fee of 20,000 DKK plus the cost of transporting the vehicle back to Denmark will apply for an unauthorized drop-off of the rental vehicle. The purchase of Roadside Assistance Protection is mandatory when traveling outside of Denmark.
Damage Waiver
Damage Waiver limits your financial responsibility in the event of a physical damage to the body of the vehicle. The coverage has a deductible of 7000 DKK per incident and covers the following:
- Liability coverage
- Damage coverage
If you would like to lower your deductible further, you can purchase Super Collision Damage Waiver and reduce your deductible to 2000 DKK
Note that Tires and Windshield cover is not included.
Damage Waiver Exclusions/Voids
Collision Damage Waiver does not cover damage to the vehicle due to using the wrong fuel. Collision Damage Waiver will be voided if damage is caused by: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, unauthorized drivers, racing or speed contest or competition, an unlicensed driver or driver training, driving over state or international borders in violation of the Rental Agreement, towing or pushing, intentional damage, simple negligence, gross negligence or recklessness, driving off of a regularly maintained roadway, using the vehicle for hire, failure to secure the car keys, or failure to lock or secure the vehicle.
Delivery and Collection
Delivery and Collection is available on request during branch hours for an extra fee. In order to set up delivery and collection service please call 45 70 70 12 00.
One Way Drop Policy
All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it was collected from will be subject to a one-way fee. The one-way fee varies based on car category, location, and pick-up date. The exact amount of the one-way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, desired route, and car category.
Exclusive Policy
The cost of the rental includes Time and Distance and Unlimited Kilometers. All domestic residents have limited mileage (100km/day) when renting a car in Denmark. We reserve the right to requalify the product to limited mileage for any domestic resident.
Excess Protection
This cover reduces your deductible to DKK 0 on the following:
- Third Party Liability
- Damage/Collision Waiver
- Theft Cover
Note! The deductible for tire and windshield coverage will still be DKK 3.000. You can buy additional cover for tires and windshield which also lowers your deductible to 0 DKK.
Refueling Service
All vehicles are delivered with a full tank of fuel and should be returned in the same condition. If the customer prefers not to refuel the car, this service is available for purchase at the counter at the time of the rental. If a vehicle is returned with less than a full tank of fuel and no prepaid fuel has been purchased at the time of the rental, the renter will be charged 30 DKK including VAT per liter of fuel when refueling.
Insurance Policy
Tire and Windshield protection is an optional coverage which reduces the renters financial responsibility in the event of damage to the undercarriage, the tires or windshield of the vehicle subject to the terms and conditions of your rental contract and applicable laws. It is available for an additional fee of 25 DKK per day and reduces the excess for damage the undercarriage, the tires or windshield of the vehicle from 5,000 DKK to 0 DKK.
Loyalty Availability
Enterprise Plus customers can earn points on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of points is not available at this location.
Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of free days is not available at this location. Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits at National and Enterprise brand locations.
A reservation must be booked in advance, and must have the member number attached, in order to earn credit/points.
Mileage Policy
All domestic residents have limited mileage (100km/day) when renting a car in Denmark. We reserve the right to requalify the product to limited mileage for any domestic resident.
Personal Accident Insurance
Personal Accident Insurance is an optional coverage which covers the driver and all passengers of the rental vehicle in the event of an accident up to 120,000 DKK. in the event of death, up to 1,000,000 DKK in the event of disability and up to 25,000 DKK per person for reasonable and necessary expenses associated with dental damage. If more than 5 people in the vehicle, the compensation is calculated proportionately. This protection is subject to the terms and conditions of your rental contract and applicable laws. It is available for an additional fee of 30 DKK per day.
Forms of Payment
Major credit cards are accepted when booking at online websites. Upon arrival, a deposit of 7000 DKK plus any pay locally charge will be placed on your credit card.
There must be sufficient credit on your card to cover all charges.
Accepted credit cards are: AMERICAN EXPRESS, VISA and MASTERCARD / EUROCARD.
Cash and debit cards (VISA ELECTRON, MAESTRO) are not accepted neither as a form of payment nor as a deposit.
Roadside Protection
Our Roadside Assistance Protection is an optional addition that gives you the benefit of breakdown assistance service. Should you be unlucky enough to have a flat tire or have your rental car damaged, there is always help available with our Roadside Assistance Protection. This cover does not apply if a breach of the terms has been found or if the wrong fuel is added to the vehicle. This service will be available for all customers. Customers who haven't purchased the Roadside Assistance Protection will be charged for the service according to the pricelist.
Renter Requirements
All renters and additional drivers must be 19 or older, have a valid driver's license and a major credit card in their name. All drivers between the ages of 19 - 24 will have a young driver fee attached. International renters must also provide a valid passport. The primary renter must provide a major credit card in their own name at the time of the rental. In addition to the normal driving license, an international driving license is also mandatory if the driving license is not written in Danish or English and - or are in characters that cannot be read or understood in Denmark, or if the driving license is not valid in the European Union. Please note that the international driving license is valid only if accompanied by the normal driving license. For luxury and special models we require two credit cards - including at least one major credit card - Visa, MasterCard, American Express - and an authorization will be requested on each credit card.
RESIDENCY - Reservations made on non-Danish websites with a Danish IP-number, are not valid for Danish residents registered with the Danish Registry of Citizenship - Folkeregister. Due to tax regulations, Danish residents can only book a rental with pickup in Denmark at www.enterprise.dk, or by choosing Denmark as country of residence on any other booking sources. A Danish resident is someone that has a permanent address in Denmark, are liable to pay tax in Denmark, or spend more than 180 days in Denmark in the last 12 months, independent of nationality or citizenship.

Super Collision Damage Waiver
This cover reduces your deductible to DKK 2000 on the following: -Third Party Liability -Damage/Collision Waiver -Theft Cover. If you wish to reduce your excess to zero, you can purchase the Zero Excess Cover.
Arrival Directions
Firstly you exits the arrival gate. Having done that, you will see the exit doors where you leave the terminal building, right in front of you. You will exit the terminal building, and having done that, you will turn to the left,walk 50 metres, and you arrive at the Enterprise Faroe Islands counter. Signs will also show you the way.
Supplemental Liability Protection
Third Party Liability insurance is mandatory by law and included with all rental rates. Liability insurance covers per accident, personal injury or death up to 121,000,000.00 DKK and property damage up to 24,000,000.00 DKK - 2018. Third Party insurance cover amounts are adjusted each year from the 1st of January. The liability insurance does not cover injury to the driver of the rental vehicle but third parties, passengers, are covered. It also does not cover the renter’s property or cover damages to a connected vehicle on the rental like a caravan or trailer.
Tire and Windshield Protection
Tires and Windshield Protection is an optional coverage which reduces the renter's financial responsibility in the event of accidental damage to the tires or windshield of the vehicle. It is available for an additional fee and reduces the excess from 7000 DKK to 0 DKK.
