Additional Driver
All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. One additional driver may be added free of charge. Any other additional driver is subject to an additional driver fee of 100 THB per day. Additional drivers can be added at any rental location and at any time during the rental. All additional drivers must appear at the rental counter, present their driver's license, and sign the rental agreement. Spouses or domestic partners who meet the same age and driver's license requirements as the main driver can be added as additional drivers free of charge.
Age Requirements
The minimum age requirement to rent all vehicles is 21. The maximum age to rent is 75. No additional fees apply to young drivers.
Basic Liability Coverage
Basic Liability Coverage (BLC) is a mandatory coverage that is included in all rates. It provides the renter with coverage of the vehicle value against accidents or theft, and it meets or exceeds the minimum required third-party liability insurance against death, personal injury, and property damage. Basic Liability Coverage comes with a standard deductible of 8000 THB for Economy, Compact, and Intermediate cars, 10000 THB for Crossovers and Mini Passenger Vans, 15000 THB for all Standard and Full-Size cars, and Large Passenger Vans, and 30000 THB for all other vehicles. The deductible will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged, lost, not returned, or stolen. Additional coverages are available for purchase. Basic Liability Coverage (BLC) is not insurance.
Cross Border Policy
Vehicles cannot be driven in any other country. Unauthorized cross-border travel will result in a breach of contract and all coverages will be voided. Customers may incur a penalty charge and may be liable up to the full value of the car in case of theft or damage.
Ferry crossings with the vehicle are permitted within the territories of Thailand.
One Way Drop Policy
All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it was collected from will be subject to a one-way fee. This one-way fee varies based on car category, location, and pick-up date. The exact amount of the one-way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, the desired route, and car category.
Exclusive Policy
Exclusive rates include the cost of the rental for time and distance and unlimited mileage. Protection products are available for purchase.
Refueling Service
Customers can choose from the following options on how to pay for fuel.
We Refill - This option allows the renter to pay at the end of the rental for fuel used but not replaced. The price per litre will be higher than local fuel prices.
Customer Refills - This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as received to avoid extra fuel charges.
Loyalty Availability
Enterprise Plus customers can earn credit at this location by attaching their Emerald Club number to the reservation. Their Emerald Club account must be set up to earn Frequent Traveler rewards, with Enterprise Plus selected as the preferred Frequent Traveler program.
A reservation must be booked in advance, and must have the member number attached, in order to earn credit/points.
Forms of Payment
All major credit cards, issued by either Visa, Mastercard, or American Express are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Prepaid cards, virtual cards, cash, and checks are not accepted. Debit cards and bank transfers can be used at the end of the rental to pay for any outstanding balances, but the deposit must be secured with a credit card at the start of the rental. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. The deposit is 5000 THB for all vehicle categories.
Renter Requirements
All drivers must present a valid Driver's License. All foreign renters must provide a passport that is valid for at least six months. Local Thailand residents may present a passport or a Thailand government issued photo ID.
Overseas licences that are not easily identifiable as a driver's licence must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit/Licence or certified English translation. Valid driver’s licence must be held for a minimum of 12 months.
Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential traffic tickets and fines. Renters who do not reside in the country of rental must provide proof of return travel, accommodation information, and a local phone number.
We do not accept digital mobile driver's licenses in Thailand.
Super Collision Damage Waiver
Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) is an optional coverage. Renters have the option to purchase SCDW for additional coverage, reducing the deductible amount in case of damage to or theft of the rental vehicle, subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. If SCDW is purchased or included in the rate, the deductible will be reduced to 4000 THB for Economy, Compact, and Intermediate cars, 5000 THB for Crossovers and Mini Passenger Vans, 7500 THB for all Standard and Full-Size cars, and Large Passenger Vans, and 15000 THB for all other vehicles. It is mandatory to obtain a police report in case of an accident or theft of the vehicle for the claim to be valid. Failure to provide the report may render the renter liable for all repair costs or up to the full value of the vehicle. SCDW is not insurance.
Super Collision Damage Waiver + Tires and Windshield Protection
Super Collision Damage Waiver plus Tires and Windshield Protection (SDWT) is an optional coverage. Renters have the option to purchase SDWT for additional coverage, reducing the deductible amount in case of damage to or theft of the rental vehicle including any tire or windshield damages, subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. If SDWT is purchased or included in the rate, the deductible will be reduced to zero for all vehicles except for Luxury, Elite, and Premium Elite vehicles. SDWT will reduce the deductible for Luxury, Elite, and Premium Elite vehicles to 5000 THB. It is mandatory to obtain a police report in case of an accident or theft of the vehicle for the claim to be valid. Failure to provide the report may render the renter liable for all repair costs or up to the full value of the vehicle. SDWT is not insurance.
Arrival Directions
Upon arriving at Krabi International Airport, please walk out of the arrival gate to the Information Counter to meet a staff representative in the Domestic Arrival Hall on the first floor who will assist you. The representative will process the rental agreement inside the terminal and will escort the customer to the car park where the rental car will be collected.
